Parent Boosters

The Fullerton Union High School Instrumental Music Booster Club (IMBC) is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit parent volunteer organization dedicated to supporting the students and ensembles of the excellent Instrumental Music Program at FUHS. We work closely with the Instrumental Music Director to help boost the success of the program and its students by providing time, materials, talents and financial support.

IMBC President Welcome Letter

I am very excited to be your Booster Club President for the 2022-2023 school year. I’m appreciative of the leadership that came before me and I hope that I can fill those shoes. I’m especially excited for our underclassmen parents to be able to enjoy a complete band season. There is nothing like cheering on your kids as they perform at a home game or compete against other bands. Going to performances for the Concert Band, Jazz Band, Percussion, and Guard are always a delight.

These events, and others, are where the boosters come into the picture. As Mr. Trimble, his staff, and students are preparing for their next event, we too are preparing to support their needs. Although fundraising is certainly a big part of what we do, it doesn’t paint the entire picture of what being a booster is. If your student is involved, we ask that you please consider being involved by volunteering your time when you can.  Here are some ways you can help:

  • Volunteer at Marching Band events, such as Home Football games
  • Serve as chaperones for rehearsals, offsite events and performances
  • Provide transportation to events
  • Work concessions at our concerts
  • Help with the Annual Awards Banquet
  • Assist with fundraising activities
  • Attend Booster Meetings
  • Join next year’s Booster executive board

Our Band Booster meetings will be held on the first Tuesday of each month starting 9/6 at 7pm in the band room, and are on the calendar tab on our website. These meetings are open for all to attend, and to help guide the future success of the program. The meetings offer the latest news about the band and its activities. They provide an opportunity to socialize with other band/guard parents and to ask questions of the Director.

We look forward to seeing you at the next event or meeting. Go Tribe!

Thank you,

Adam Ishikawa

2022-2023 IMBC Board President
