Booster Club (FUHS IMBC)

Thank you to our great booster officers as well as the many, many other wonderful parents who participate on various committees, attend meetings, assist with transportation (human and equipment) and work tirelessly throughout the year on things big and small!

FUHS IMBC currently meets on the third Tuesday of every month at 7:00pm for the 2019-2020 school year. Meetings typically last about an hour to an hour and a half. Meetings are held in the band room (room 80) at FUHS.

Parent Volunteer Opportunities Abound!
  • Marching Band and Color Guard:
    • Band Camp– first day student check-in, collection of fair share contributions, assist with lunch distribution on the first and last day of camp.
    • Football Games– equipment/instrument transportation, snack and water distribution, uniform management (home games).
    • Field Tournaments, Parades, and other performances– equipment/instrument transportation, snack and water distribution, uniform management, trailer loading/unloading, general chaperone duties.
    • IMBC Band and Color Guard Liaison positions.
    • IMBC Uniform Liaison position.
    • Take photos and share with Mr. Trimble and Boosters!
    • Attend performances!
  • Drumline and Winter Guard:
    • Competitions in the Spring- equipment/instrument transportation, student transportation to and from events, snack and water distrubution.
    • IMBC Drumline and Color Guard Liaison positions.
    • Take photos and share with Mr. Trimble and Boosters!
    • Attend performances!
  • Jazz Band:
    • Equipment/instrument and student transportation.
    • IMBC Band Liaison position.
    • Take photos and share with Mr. Trimble and Boosters!

  • School Events IMBC Presence:
    • Student Registration, Back to School Night, as well as Open House table/booth management and distribution of information.
  • Fundraisers:
    • Serve on IMBC Fundraising Committee
    • Organize and plan fundraising activities and events
    • Assist in set up and tear down of events
  • Music Tours/Trips:
    • Assist in planning, fundraising, and participation in any music tours or trips during the year or summer!
    • Take photos and share with Mr. Trimble and Boosters!
  • Concerts:
    • Program distribution
    • Box office
    • Silent auctions and raffles
    • Food and Beverage sales
