The Fullerton Union High School Instrumental Music Booster Club (IMBC) is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit parent volunteer organization dedicated to supporting the students and ensembles of the excellent Instrumental Music Program at FUHS. We work closely with the Instrumental Music Director to help boost the success of the program and its students by providing time, materials, talents and financial support.
Welcome Letter from the IMBC President
Welcome to the new school year! I’m honored to serve as President of the Instrumental Music Booster Club (IMBC), and I’m incredibly excited for what’s ahead. I want to thank the dedicated leaders who came before me—your contributions laid a strong foundation for this amazing community.
This year, we’re thrilled to see our program growing once again, with more students returning to the field and stage. Whether it’s cheering on the Marching Band at a Friday night football game, enjoying a stunning Jazz performance, or watching the precision of our Percussion and Guard ensembles, there’s truly nothing like seeing our students shine.
These unforgettable moments don’t happen on their own—and that’s where you come in. While fundraising is one part of what we do, being a booster is really about being present and involved. If your student is part of this program, we invite you to be part of it, too.
Here are just a few ways you can make an impact:
• Volunteer at Marching Band home games
• Chaperone rehearsals, events, and competitions
• Help transport equipment and instruments
• Work concessions at concerts and festivals
• Assist with the annual Awards Banquet
• Support fundraising campaigns
• Attend monthly Booster meetings
• Shadow a current board member for a future leadership role
Our Booster Meetings begin in September and are held on the second Monday of each month at 7:00 PM in the Band Room. You’ll find all dates on the calendar tab of our website. These meetings are open to all and are a great way to stay informed, get involved, and connect with fellow parents.
We’re building more than just a music program—we’re building a supportive, engaged community around our students. I encourage you to jump in, lend a hand, and help us make this year one to remember.
Thank you for your time, energy, and enthusiasm.
We look forward to seeing you at an event, a meeting, or cheering in the stands. Go Tribe!
Warm regards,
Carrie Barron
